The Plain One

No slogan and no punchline, just the logo at a size people can read across a car park. Supporters ask for this shirt more than any other, because a name on a chest starts the same conversation a slogan does without committing the wearer to a position before they have had their coffee.

It also does a job at events. Standing behind a stall in a logo tee tells the public who they are talking to, and it lets a supporter walking past recognise you as one of theirs.

What The Name Stands For

Beloved Rabbits does three different things, and they are worth separating because people tend to assume a rescue only does the first.

Rescue and rehoming. Rabbits come to us through surrender, abandonment and straying. We treat them, neuter them, vaccinate them, and take the time to find each one a home that suits it.

Education. This answers the question “how do I look after my rabbit?” Most owners were given poor information at the point of sale, and correcting it after the fact is slow work that has to be done one household at a time.

Welfare action. This answers a different question: why are so many rabbits being failed in the first place? It is the part of the work that looks at how rabbits are sold, housed and treated across the country rather than at the individual animal in front of us.

Wearing the logo puts all three in front of somebody who has never thought about any of them.

Who You Are Supporting

Beloved Rabbits is a Scottish charity, registered as a SCIO with charity number SC049128, and the people doing the work are volunteers. The money that comes in goes back out on veterinary treatment, on hay and food, and on the premises where rabbits stay while they wait.

Beloved Rabbits Welfare Services CIC sells this shirt on behalf of the charity. All proceeds go to Beloved Rabbits for its charitable purposes.

Unisex fit with a tubular body, so it holds its shape through repeated washing. Wash at 30 degrees, inside out, and dry flat to protect the print.
