Fundraising happens outdoors. A sponsored walk in June, four hours behind a stall at a summer show, an afternoon of collection tin duty in a shopping centre. Cotton holds onto the heat and the sweat; this one moves it away from the skin and dries as you go, at 135gsm, so it stays light through a long day. Twin-needle stitching on the hem and arms takes the repeated washing that follows a season of events.

What The Slogan Is For

An Everybunny Champion is someone who has learned what a rabbit needs and is willing to say so out loud. Most rabbits arrive at a rescue because their owner was given poor advice at the point of sale and believed it. Wearing the slogan at an event, on a run or at the vet puts the question in front of people who would never think to search for it, which is where most of our education work starts.

Who You Are Supporting

Beloved Rabbits is a Scottish rabbit rescue charity, registered as a SCIO (SC049128). Rabbits reach us through surrender, abandonment and straying. Each one is assessed by a vet, neutered, vaccinated against myxomatosis and RVHD, given a companion where bonding is right for them, and matched with an adopter who understands the commitment.

Beloved Rabbits Welfare Services CIC sells this shirt on behalf of the charity. All proceeds go to Beloved Rabbits for its charitable purposes, covering veterinary bills, daily feeding and the running costs of holding a rabbit safely until the right home comes along.

How The Fabric Is Certified

Three certifications sit behind this garment, and each one covers something different.

OEKO-TEX tests the finished fabric for substances known to be harmful to skin, which matters on a shirt worn against the skin in warm weather.

BSCI audits the factory itself, covering working hours, pay and conditions for the people who made it.

REACH is the chemicals regulation governing what can be used in manufacture and sale.

We take the view that a charity selling merchandise ought to know how it was made. If a supplier cannot answer that, we look for one who can.

Care

Wash at 30 degrees, inside out. Skip the fabric conditioner, which coats the fibres and reduces the wicking, and leave it out of the tumble dryer.
